We've all heard it.. also, the majority of us have said it. We're buzzing through a discussion and we need the individual to draw in with us. We're energetic and we're energized, and we're, we'll, you know, really cool and eloquent.
We don't even understand, that in a compass of around 3 minutes, we've utilized a word that we're misusing again and again and over, and its virtually unrecognizable, despite the fact that we are TOTALLY cool when we say it.
I acknowledged it myself, that I was mishandling this term or set of words, when my uncle said to me a couple of weeks back, "Mary, you're an expert communicator, right? Don't you get paid to talk in front of an audience and to mentor individuals who are addressing others?
"Why YES I do Uncle Leo! I work with individuals everywhere throughout the nation who need to be cleaned speakers".
At that point, he hit me with it. What's more, it really stung. It was similar to bringing down the prized warrior who advised everybody he was going to win the match, yet to lose and to be humbled before a main residence swarm.
I was a wrongdoer, and it disturbed him. It troubled him enough to TELL ME and to ENCOURAGE ME in no questionable terms, to quit saying these words.
After Uncle Leo smacked me with the truth that I was abusing a term or set of words and abusing it to the level of being irritating to him, I began listening precisely to my customers and my companions. Of course enough, the word is there and rehashed pretty much every other sentence. It's insane and it began irritating me as well!
You hear what I'm saying?
Maybe you don't even hear what I'm saying, or perhaps RECOGNIZE this term, on the grounds that, guess what? It's no more even two words, its turned into ONE WORD, and this hostile word is this:
YNOE, or perhaps the spelling is, "YA-NOH" Even that isn't it, on the grounds that I really trust its another sound in the English dialect. It very nearly seems like a feline yowling! (whimper or Yeoh)
It signifies" YOU KNOW! Also, we utilize it constantly. We utilize it toward the end or in the middles of almost every couple of sentences, to verify an individual is with us, and tuning in, and obviously, concurring with us!
This NON-WORD is so pervasive, now that I accept we have to figure out how to spell it and place it in Wikipedia! We say it so quick that its no more TWO words, and its presently only ONE word, all hung together!
So I've been testing my customers and my companions to STOP THE MADNESS! Quit saying
"YNOW" and begin contemplating what we're stating. I've offered the proposal of backing off and really LISTENING to what we're stating, rather than simply talking without listening to how apathetic we really must appear, to the individuals who are listening to us!
Also, I am testing you as well! On the off chance that you hear it, TELL the individual. In case you're SAYING it, STOP IT. With each of us perceiving how we're hacking up our dialect, maybe we'll give careful consideration to how we sound. Also, maybe we'll all quit being sluggish!
